About the Role
Wheat City Concrete Products Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at the Virden office. You will manage the day-to-day financial operations for one of our group companies. This position offers a predictable, seasonal schedule perfect for balancing work and personal time during the winter months.
Core Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable: Process invoices, post payments, and manage collections.
- Accounts Payable: Verify invoices, match purchase orders, and issue payments.
- Payroll Processing: Calculate hours, process payroll, and maintain employee records.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate financial records in our accounting software.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of related accounting work experience.
- Skills: Strong understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and payroll practices.
- Attributes: High accuracy, strong organizational skills, and strict confidentiality.
