A career as a Senior Advisor in the Independent Evaluations team within Compliance involves participating in various regulatory audit mandates and contributing to the regulatory risk management at the Bank. This job allows you to have a positive impact on our organization, thanks to your audit experience, your risk management competencies, your knowledge of the Bank's sectors of activity, your curiosity as well as your analytical and communication skills.
Your job
- Plan, guide and participate in regulatory compliance assessment execution;
- Ensure business units’ compliance with regulatory requirements;
- Carry out various mandates and complex projects;
- Make recommendations to mitigate the risks of non-compliance with regulations;
- Write reports and communicate the results to the management of the business lines involved in audit;
- Ensure follow-up on action plans following the recommendations issued;
- Perform analyzes using data analysis tools
Your team
Within the Compliance sector (Risk Management), you would be part of the Independent Evaluation team and you would report to the Senior Director, Independent Evaluation, P&C. Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree related to the sector of activity and five years of relevant experience OR Master's degree related to the sector of activity and three years of relevant experience;
- CPA, CIA, CAMS or CFE title, an asset;
- Experience in internal audit, compliance, risk management, anti-fraud, desirable;
- Knowledge of Personal and Business financial products and services, desirable;
- Autonomy, collaboration, rigor and proactivity;
Languages
English, French
Reason to require this language: you will need to work closely with our colleagues outside Quebec.
