Reporting to the Supervisor Inspection & Service, the Fire Alarm Technician will be part of a close-knit team of experienced professionals and ensures the inspection, maintenance, and emergency service of fire alarm systems.
Key responsibilities include
Inspection, service and troubleshooting of existing fire alarm systems
Performing upgrades, repairs, additions or improvements to systems following inspection
Preparation of inspection, and deficiencies reports in a timely manner
Respond to emergency calls during evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis

Success Factors
Diploma in Fire Protection Technology/Technologist or other relevant training
3 years of experience in service and inspection of fire alarm systems
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well independently
Working knowledge of CAN/ULC standards S536
Knowledge of Notifier products (an asset)
CFAA certification (an asset)
Valid driver’s license
