We are a growing transportation and logistics company specializing in intermodal drayage, container transportation, yard storage, container depot services, and supply chain solutions across Western Canada. We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Sales Representative to expand our customer base and develop new business opportunities in Calgary, Edmonton, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the transportation and logistics industry.
  • Promote and sell intermodal drayage, container transportation, yard storage, and depot services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders, importers, exporters, shipping lines, warehouses, and logistics providers.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Prepare and present service proposals, quotations, and contracts.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure exceptional customer service and successful account management.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity reports.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years of sales experience in transportation, logistics, trucking, intermodal, freight forwarding, or supply chain services.
  • Strong understanding of container drayage, rail transportation, yard storage, and logistics operations is preferred.
  • Proven track record of business development and customer acquisition.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
