Northern Health is seeking a strategic and collaborative leader to serve as Regional Manager, Environmental Health & Tobacco Enforcement, overseeing the delivery and continuous improvement of comprehensive Health Protection programs across the region.
The Regional Manager, Environmental Health & Tobacco Enforcement is responsible for the management and operation of Health Protection within Northern Health (NH) including planning, implementing, evaluating programs and services such as Food Safety, Water Safety, Land Use, Communicable Disease, Community Sanitation, Tobacco Control and administrative support. The Regional Manager ensures the leadership and management of the human, financial and material resources in the area and supports the goals, policies and vision of Northern Health. The Regional Manager also ensures completion of the department’s objectives in the annual business plan. The Regional Manager participates as a member of the Public Health Protection Management Team in the coordination and integration of planning and evaluation strategies into the service delivery system of NH. The Regional Manager is responsible for the management of internal and external partnerships and the integration of Environmental Health services within NH.
Starting salary will be approximately from $108,147 to $135,184 and will be based on education, training, experience, and salaries of similar positions.
