Work Location: Multiple locations across the Northern Territories/Remote

Reports to: Operations Manager

Department: North of 60 Monitoring

We’re looking for a Project Manager / Environmental Engineer to support environmental monitoring, assessment, and remediation projects across Western and Northern Canada. This role is ideal for an environmental professional with experience managing or coordinating smaller-scale projects who is looking to continue building their project management and technical experience in a safety focused, team-oriented environment.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate environmental projects from planning through completion, including schedules, budgets, reporting, and project documentation
  • Support environmental monitoring, remediation, and sampling programs in both office and field settings
  • Work closely with clients, regulators, subcontractors, and field crews to support safe and successful project delivery
  • Assist with proposals, cost estimates, work plans, and project tracking
  • Participate in and oversee field activities, including site inspections, environmental sampling, and compliance monitoring
  • Promote safe work practices and support strong communication across project teams

Who You Are

  • 3–5 years of experience in environmental consulting, remediation, monitoring, reclamation, or related project work
  • Experience coordinating or managing smaller-scale environmental projects
  • Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Geoscience, or a related discipline
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working independently in the field and collaboratively within project teams
  • Professional designation such as P.Eng., P.Ag., P.Geo., RPBio., or equivalent is considered a strong asset

What You Need

  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently to remote project sites across the North
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to perform physically demanding field work in varying outdoor conditions
  • First Aid and WHMIS/TDG certifications (or willingness to complete training provided by KBL)
