Position
- Grade 7/8
Required teaching qualifications
- A valid Ontario College of Teachers Certificate A valid Certification of Registration from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Intermediate Qualifications
- Special Education Part 1 is an Asset
- Math/ Science AQ is an Asset
Position Criteria
- Knowledge of Ministry Curriculum and Assessment documents
- Demonstrated experience with Apple based software and Mobile devices (iPad/MacBook/iMac)
- Evidence of understanding of varied learners with a focus on ‘at-risk’ students
- Evidence of supporting Literacy and Numeracy from a whole school perspective
- Evidence of integration of technology for the documentation and evaluation of student work ·
- Ability to work as part of a school team and to communicate effectively
- Demonstrated ability to utilize EDSBY to support student learning and guardian communication
