The Opportunity
The Senior Systems Administrator is primarily responsible for the administration, configuration, optimization, and ongoing support of the Yardi property management platform. This role serves as the primary technical and functional expert for Yardi, ensuring system stability, data integrity, security, and alignment with business processes across accounting, operations, and reporting teams. In addition to these duties, this role is also accountable for integration and automation of data supporting the business.

What you bring...

Formal Education or Equivalent
- High-School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science would be considered an asset.
- 3+ years of experience working in an IT environment in the areas of user security, system configuration, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of property management and real estate accounting concepts would be considered an asset.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced).
- Deep knowledge of SQL, VBA, Adobe, JavaScript and text tags.
- Experience supporting Yardi in multi-entity or multi-property environments is considered an asset.
- Understanding of computer systems and applications would be considered an asset.
You will...
- Administer, configure, and maintain property management software (Yardi) including; system settings, workflows, permissions, and user roles.
- Coordinate system upgrades, patches, and new module implementations ensuring optimal system support and performance.
- Configure property setups, charge codes, GL structures, menus, reports, and dashboards.
- Maintain lookup tables, parameters, and standardized configurations including integrations with third-party systems and internal applications.
- Develop, maintain, and support standard and custom and ad hoc reports including; data import, validation for accounting, operations, and leadership.
- Troubleshoot system errors, data discrepancies, user issues with software and external vendors to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Train users on various software functionality and best practices through SOPs, and user guides as the internal subject-matter expert (SME).
- Participate in system projects, upgrades, and implementations.
- Resolve request within the support inbox and ensure all inquiries are properly addressed and resolved.
- Maintains programs written in VBA, which perform sorting and analysis of financial and technological data.
- Create tailored reporting solutions for users to facilitate data analysis using PowerPivot, VBA, power query.
- Other duties/projects as assigned.

- Support and issue resolution – accuracy, time to resolution.
- Reduction in basic support tickets following training sessions.
- Feedback from Accounting, Operations, and users.
