Waterdown Montessori School is seeking a AMI / MACTE Montessori-trained Toddler Guide to join our school community beginning

September 2026.

Our toddler community serves children approximately 16 months to 3 years of age in a carefully prepared environment designed to support independence, language development, movement, and respectful social interactions. Daily classroom life emphasizes freedom within limits, purposeful work, and respectful caregiving routines, including support for children through the toilet learning process.

We are looking for a guide who brings warmth, patience, and strong Montessori practice, and who deeply respects the developmental needs of children in the first plane of development.

Qualifications

• AMI or MACTE-accredited Montessori (0-3) Infant/Toddler diploma
• Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy and toddler development
• Ability to prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly, and developmentally appropriate environment
• Strong observation, organization and communication skills
• Collaborative and reflective approach to working with colleagues and families
