Electrical Designer

Electrical Designers | Custom Automation | Cambridge, ON

I'm working on behalf of a well-established global automation and advanced manufacturing company that is looking to add an experienced Electrical Designer to its engineering team.

This isn't a maintenance or production support role. You'll be designing custom automation systems from concept through integration, working alongside mechanical and controls engineers on complex, one-of-a-kind manufacturing projects.

Guranteed Contract-to-hire with a clear path to permanent employment (typically within 8–12 months based on performance)

Exposure to cutting-edge automation technologies including robotics, vision systems, motion control, sensors, and advanced manufacturing equipment

Opportunity to take ownership of electrical design packages and influence design standards—not simply execute drawings

Strong long-term growth path into an Electrical Design Lead role

We're looking to connect with professionals who have:

• 5+ years of electrical design experience

• Experience designing industrial control panels and automation systems

• EPLAN experience is a 'MUST HAVE'

• A passion for solving complex engineering challenges in a collaborative environment

Compensation

• $37–$53/hour (T4) or $45–$60/hour (Incorporated), based on experience
• Overtime opportunity after 44 Hours
