The successful applicant will provide support to a visually impaired student in Kindergarten, in the afternoons (12:05 to 3:05 pm daily). Experience working with the visually impaired will be an asset.

Desirable qualifications and attributes

• Educational Assistant Certificate, Social Work diploma or comparable education is an asset
• The successful applicant will have Literacy and Numeracy skills required to support small group interventions
• Experience or education in working with children with Autism and complex needs preferred
• Comfortable working independently, with minimal guidance.
• Good problem solving skills.
• Toileting and lifting may be required.
