The Opportunity
KGHM International is actively looking to source a full-time, permanent Senior JD Edwards ERP & Enterprise Solutions Specialist (Functional + Technical Lead), based out of Toronto and/or Sudbury Ontario.
Scope of the Role
The Senior Enterprise Solutions Specialist is a hybrid functional and technical expert responsible for the design, development, and support of JD Edwards (JDE) solutions across key business domains. This role requires deep hands-on expertise in both JDE development and functional processes (Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and CAM/Maintenance), supporting complex, multi-site operations.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) across JDE modules including Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and CAM (Maintenance), with strong understanding of end-to-end business processes.
- Provide hands-on technical development in JDE, including: Business Functions (BSFN), Event Rules (ER), Table Conversions, Named Event Rules (NER), Orchestrations and integrations
- Lead the design and implementation of JDE customizations, integrations, and enhancements aligned with business needs
- Drive complex integrations between JDE and third-party systems (e.g., BI platforms, payroll, banking, AP automation tools)
- Ensure system stability and business continuity in a 24x7 operational environment, including participation in on-call rotation
- Lead and support major initiatives such as JDE upgrades, migrations, DRP (Disaster Recovery), and digital transformation projects
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis across both functional and technical issues.
- Design and optimize reporting solutions using BI Publisher
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Mentor team members and provide technical and functional leadership across the organization.
- Apply structured query language to query and extract data from Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle databases.
Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge
Must-have
8–10+ years of JD Edwards experience, including both:
- Functional expertise across Finance, Procurement, Inventory, and CAM
- Hands-on development experience
Proven experience as a technical JDE developer, including:
- BSFN, ER, Table Conversions, Orchestrator
Strong experience with:
- BI Publisher (mandatory)
Demonstrated experience leading or playing a key role in:
- JDE upgrades (Tools / Apps)
- Complex implementations or system transformations
Advanced knowledge of:
- JDE security and role design
- Integration patterns (APIs, Orchestrator, middleware such as Kafka/NiFi is a plus)
Strong SQL skills (Oracle + MS SQL Server) for data analysis and troubleshooting
Experience in multi-site, global environments with cross-functional teams

Compensation
The compensation for this role is CAD$100,010 to CAD$105,000 dependent on location and experience.
