The organization includes Mackenzie Richmond Hill Hospital, Cortellucci Vaughan Hospital (Canada’s first smart hospital), an Urgent Care Centre, a Reactivation Care Centre, a Long-Term Care home, and a growing network of community-based services.

As a leading regional provider, Mackenzie Health delivers a broad range of acute and community care, including regional programs in stroke, chronic kidney disease, behavioural health and domestic abuse and sexual assault services.

The Opportunity

Mackenzie Health Is Seeking a Director Who Brings

  • Senior executive leadership experience
  • Strong governance expertise and prior board experience
  • Strategic perspective in complex, evolving environments
  • A commitment to patient-centred care and community impact

The Director is expected to serve on two Board Committees and actively participate in meetings.

Time Commitment

Approximately 15–20 hours per month, including preparation and meeting attendance.

Term

Up to a three-year term, with potential for renewal. Appointments will begin Fall 2026.
