We're looking for experienced Hospital Health Data Governance Leads to help train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models — bringing real-world knowledge of healthcare data quality, HIPAA compliance, and clinical operations to ensure AI gets it right where it matters most.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed — just deep expertise in health data governance and a sharp eye for accuracy.

What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated content related to hospital data governance, clinical data management, and healthcare compliance for accuracy and real-world validity
- Identify gaps, inaccuracies, and unrealistic recommendations in AI outputs related to data governance frameworks and health information standards
- Apply your expertise in HIPAA, data quality controls, and cross-functional healthcare workflows to assess and improve AI responses
- Provide structured, expert-level feedback using clear evaluation rubrics
- Draw on your experience with clinical, IT, and compliance stakeholders to spot nuanced errors that only a domain expert would catch
- Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Experienced in healthcare data governance, health information management, or clinical data operations
- Strong command of healthcare privacy regulations and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA
- Familiar with cross-functional healthcare environments — working across clinical, technical, and administrative teams
- Naturally detail-oriented with a consistent, methodical approach to evaluating complex information
- Able to clearly articulate why something is accurate, incomplete, or misleading in a healthcare data context
- No prior AI or tech experience required
Nice to Have
- Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assurance, or evaluation systems
- Background in health informatics, clinical informatics, or health IT implementation
- Familiarity with EHR systems, data warehousing, or healthcare analytics platforms
- Experience with regulatory reporting, audits, or accreditation in a hospital setting
