Precision Medicine Data Lead (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your expertise in genomics and clinical data could directly shape how AI understands and advances personalized medicine for millions of patients? We're looking for a Precision Medicine Data Lead to help guide the integration of complex healthcare datasets into meaningful insights — powering the next generation of AI models built for clinical research and personalized treatment.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. If you have deep experience working with large-scale genomic, clinical, or life sciences data and know how to turn complexity into clarity, we want to hear from you.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design, oversee, and optimize data pipelines that integrate genomics, clinical records, biomarkers, and other healthcare data into unified analytics platforms
  • Lead analytical strategies that convert complex, integrated datasets into actionable insights for precision medicine initiatives and clinical decision support
  • Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and technical teams to ensure data quality, regulatory alignment, and scientific rigor
  • Communicate results clearly to diverse stakeholders — from research teams to technical leads
  • Ensure data governance standards are upheld across all integration and analytics workflows
  • Evaluate and improve how AI systems handle healthcare and genomic data at scale

Who You Are

  • Experienced working with large-scale healthcare, genomic, or life sciences datasets in analytics or data leadership roles
  • Skilled in data integration, data governance, and translating complex scientific data into meaningful insights
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with clinical, research, and engineering teams in regulated or highly technical environments
  • Detail-oriented, methodical, and rigorous in your approach to data quality and scientific accuracy
  • A clear communicator who can bridge the gap between technical data systems and clinical or research audiences

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or AI evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with precision medicine frameworks, EHR systems, or biomarker research
  • Background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or clinical informatics
  • Experience working with or evaluating AI and machine learning systems in healthcare contexts

Why Join Us

  • Work alongside world-leading AI research teams on cutting-edge healthcare AI projects
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around
  • Freelance autonomy with the substance of genuinely impactful, mission-driven work
  • Gain direct exposure to how advanced large language models are trained and evaluated in scientific domains
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
