A Snapshot of Your Day
The Quality Process Specialist is a key contributor to driving operational excellence by ensuring robust quality practices and comprehensive data analysis across all manufacturing and engineering processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering/R&D, production, and test lab, to uphold quality standards, achieve and maintain relevant certifications, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. You will leverage advanced data analysis tools and problem-solving methodologies (such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA) to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and monitor effectiveness. Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential, as you will serve as a link between quality, engineering, and management to proactively address quality challenges and support organizational goals.
- Prepare and analyze monthly KPI reports, including FPY and NCC, ensuring accuracy and providing actionable insights to enhance performance.
- Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Integrated Management System, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Conduct internal audits to verify compliance and readiness for external certifications.
- Analyze failure data and develop actionable insights to improve processes.
- Prepare internal and customer-facing reports summarizing findings and recommendations.
- Coordinate failure investigation topics by collaborating with engineering and R&D teams to identify root causes and facilitate implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Work in collaboration with After Sales team to provide customers with reports and clarifications as well as support in routine tasks if required
- Manage and maintain quality-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Utilize SAP and Intelex systems for data management and analysis to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Drive problem-solving initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team and across departments.
- Lead root cause analysis initiatives for quality-related issues by coordinating investigation efforts among cross-functional teams, such as production and engineering, without direct line management.
- Ensure timely communication of RCA findings through comprehensive customer reports, providing clear recommendations and follow-up actions to address identified problems and prevent recurrence.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a quality process role, preferably in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Proficiency in SAP systems, data analysis tools, and techniques.
- Proven ability to lead RCA using methods such as 5 Whys, Fishbone Diagram, and FMEA.
- Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems and relevant standards such as ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001.
- Familiarity with conducting audits and managing certifications.
- Strong analytical skills to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and implement changes effectively.
- Previous experience in Instrument Transformers’ manufacturing environment is an asset.
In accordance with the Pay Transparency Act, we are committed to providing clear and accessible information about compensation for this role. The expected compensation range for this position is $70,000 – $110,000 / Annually. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on several job-related factors, including relevant education, depth and breadth of experience, professional certifications or license, specialized skills aligned with the role, and internal equity considerations.
