The Opportunity

We’re looking for an exceptionally organized, detail-oriented, and proactive professional to join our team as Executive Assistant, Governance & Board Relations.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, this is more than a traditional executive assistant role. The role serves as a trusted partner in supporting executive priorities, governance processes, and organizational effectiveness. The successful candidate will provide executive support to the CEO while coordinating governance activities for CASK’s Board of Directors and Regional Advisory Councils.

You’ll gain exposure to executive leadership, governance, strategic initiatives, stakeholder relations, and Saskatchewan’s construction industry while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment where no two days are the same. Key Responsibilities

• Manage the President & CEO’s schedule, calendar, travel, and meeting priorities.

• Anticipate needs, identify potential conflicts, and proactively support executive effectiveness.

• Research and prepare briefing notes, executive summaries, and background materials for meetings and stakeholder engagements.

• Draft correspondence, reports, presentations, and communications for review and approval.

• Coordinate governance activities for the Board of Directors and Regional Advisory Councils.

• Prepare agendas, board packages, and meeting materials.

• Record, prepare, and verify meeting minutes while maintaining accurate governance records.

• Track action items, resolutions, and organizational commitments.

• Maintain confidential corporate records and governance documentation.

• Support special projects and strategic initiatives across the organization.

• Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology solutions.

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

• Postsecondary education in business, commerce, public administration, communications, or a related field is preferred.

• Experience supporting executives, boards, committees, or governance bodies is considered an asset.

• Experience preparing presentations, reports, and meeting materials is beneficial.

• Experience conducting research and preparing executive summaries or briefing materials is an asset.

• A combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Early-career professionals with strong organizational skills and leadership potential are encouraged to apply.
