Your future role on our team

As an Engineer you will be reporting to the Team Lead for Mining Engineering. In your role you will be assisting on support mandates for mining operations and on mining studies, both in Canada and internationally. You will be assigned to both open pit and underground mining projects and will be given the opportunity to collaborate with the engineers and geologists in offices across Canada.

• Underground stope optimization and mine design
• Mine planning and production scheduling
• Equipment fleet calculations
• Capital and operating cost calculations
• Write and contribute to study reports
• Work in collaboration with our geology and drill and blast teams
• Liaise with clients regarding technical matters and be able to professionally present results

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mining engineering
• Experience working at a mining operation
• 2 to 5 years of experience relevant to the position
• Member of the PEO
• Availability to take on fly-in/fly-out (FIFO) assignments
• Proficiency with mine design software, Minesight and Deswik are preferred
• Asset : Bilingual (English and French)
