Knowledge & Skills

  • You have knowledge of standards (BRC, SQF or FSSC 22000)
  • You understand HACCP concepts and processes (training in HACCP)
  • You have intermediate level Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of machinery operation .
  • Basic knowledge of troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
  • Familiarity with industrial safety regulations.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and machine manuals.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience

  • You have a Degree in Food Science or related discipline.
  • You have experience working in a similar capacity, preferably in a food production facility.
  • THINGS YOU WILL DO…
  • Machine Operation
    • Operate Nimco machinery or Fogg line or bagger (such as pumps, valves, or other equipment) according to the operational guidelines and safety protocols.
    • Ensure that the machinery is set up and calibrated properly for the specific production requirements.
    • Adjust machine settings (e.g., speed, pressure, temperature) to ensure optimal performance during production.
    • Monitor machine outputs to ensure they meet the required quality and safety standards.
    • Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications, making adjustments when necessary.
    • Record and report any product defects or deviations from production standards.
    • Maintain accurate records of production data, including machine settings, production quantities, and downtime.
    • Document maintenance and repair activities, tracking the performance and history of each machine.
    • Report any issues, equipment malfunctions, or production delays to supervisors in a timely manner.
    • Ensure the proper loading of raw materials into the machine, ensuring that materials are correctly prepared for processing.
