Job Summary
Reporting to the Recruitment Manager, the Recruiter plays a key role in building and sustaining a diverse, high‑quality talent pipeline across our businesses. This position supports full‑cycle recruitment for a wide range of roles, including skilled trades, technical, and professional positions.
This is a hands‑on, relationship‑focused role suited for a Recruiter who enjoys working across varied candidate populations, partnering closely with hiring leaders, and delivering a consistent and positive candidate experience. The Recruiter also supports employer brand growth through community engagement, workforce partnerships, and ongoing recruitment initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage full‑cycle recruitment for a variety of positions, ensuring a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout
- Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, prioritize requisitions, and align recruitment activities accordingly
- Proactively source, assess, and select candidates using multiple channels and platforms
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through continuous sourcing, workforce development programs, school partnerships, and community outreach
- Champion accurate and consistent use of the applicant tracking system to support data integrity, compliance and reporting
- Develop and execute recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract qualified, motivated candidates across multiple job families
- Represent the organization at job fairs, career events, and outreach activities
- Develop and maintain recruitment outreach materials that support visibility and employer brand consistency
Qualifications & Experience
- Post‑secondary degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience
- Previous experience in high volume recruitment, talent acquisition, or workforce hiring
- Experience recruiting across different role types (skilled trades, technical, professional)
- Familiarity with applicant tracking and sourcing platforms such as Taleo, Oracle, LinkedIn, Indeed, or similar
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
- Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting to evolving recruitment tools and processes
