We are seeking a full-time Technology Enablement Manager, with preference given to candidates located in the Antigonish area. Reporting to the Helpdesk Supervisor, the Technology Enablement Technician provides frontline Tier 1 support to employees, ensuring reliable access to technology tools and applications. The role focuses on troubleshooting, hardware and access management, and delivering consistent, high-quality service while supporting standardized processes and a strong service culture aligned with East Coast Credit Union values.

You would…

  • Act as the first point of contact for employee technology support requests via the ticketing system, phone, and in‑person channels.
  • Perform Tier 1 troubleshooting for hardware, software, connectivity, printing, and productivity tool issues.
  • Provide onsite and remote support across ECCU locations, ensuring timely resolution within established service targets.
  • Clearly communicate progress, expectations, and resolution steps to end users.
  • Prepare, deploy, and replace end‑user devices (laptops, peripherals, mobile devices) in accordance with standards.
  • Maintain accurate technology asset records, including assignment, lifecycle status, and disposal tracking.
  • Assist with onboarding, offboarding, and location moves by ensuring devices and access are ready on time.
  • Perform basic access management activities such as account setup, password resets, multi‑factor device issuance, and role‑based access changes under approved procedures.
  • Accurately document incidents, requests, and resolutions to support knowledge sharing and trend analysis.
  • Identify issues requiring escalation and transition them to Technology Enablement Specialists with appropriate context and diagnostics.
  • Contribute to knowledge base articles, user guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Identify recurring issues or process gaps and recommend improvement opportunities.
  • Participate in training, service improvement initiatives, and quality reviews as required.

You have…

  • A Post‑secondary education in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience supporting enterprise technology environments, including infrastructure, systems, and business applications.; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
