KITCHEN LEAD HAND REPORTS DIRECTLY TO THE DIRECTOR OF FOOD SERVICES . THIS IS A SUPERVISORY POSITION WITH 40 HOURS PER WEEK , AS PER OPERATIONAL NEEDS AND PER MUTUAL AGREEMENT , STARTING TIMES MAY VARY . UNDER A COMPASS GROUP GENERAL GUIDANCE AND FOLLOWING CONTRACTUAL OBLIGATIONS THIS POSITION PREPARES AND HELPS TO PREPARE FOOD INCLUDING BAKING AND PORTIONING OF FOOD AND SERVING OF FOOD ACCORDING TO POSTED MENUS DIETARY RESTRICTIONS AND REQUIREMENTS. OTHER DUTIES REQUIRES SUPERVISING STAFF , DELEGATING TASKS , ORGANIZING AND COORDINATING OF THE OPERATION OF THE MAINTENANCE OF QUALITY STANDARDS AND SAFETY AND SANITATION . LEAD HAND POSITION DUTIES ALSO INCLUDE ORDERING OF FOOD AND KITCHEN SUPPLIES WEEKLY INVENTORY COUNTS , DISTRIBUTION AND COLLECTION OF REFRIGERATION DISH WASHING AND CLEANING LOGS . PARTICIPATION IN REGULAR FOOD SERVICE AND HEALTH AND SAFETY MEETINGS AND FOLLOWS UP WITH THE DIRECTOR OF FOOD SERVICES.

The hourly wage rate for this position is $27.54. Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
