We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time temporary Store Set Up Specialist to join our Store Set Up team in Langley, BC.

This temporary position is expected to last 6 months.

Reporting to the Manager, Store Set-Up, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate store floor plans and planogram assignments, ensuring alignment with merchandising strategies. In this role, you will coordinate new store setups and launches, driving timely execution and communication across all stakeholders.

You will be responsible for

  • Acting as a gatekeeper for all floor plans, including completing detailed quality checks to ensure all data is accurate and complete, and communicating updates to all impacted groups (such as price change, store teams, etc.).
  • Supporting store floor plans and planogram change requests by identifying optimal solutions, ensuring alignment with merchandising strategies while meeting store needs.
  • Maintaining and updating floor plans related to costing requests, planogram assignments, and go-live dates, including large-scale updates (such as deli case updates, freezer run replacements, or program rollouts).
  • Managing and maintaining floor plan attribute fields and partnering with Space Planning to ensure all dependent attributes are accurate and up to date.
  • Overseeing floor plan and planogram assignments for new stores and ongoing updates, ensuring correct planograms are implemented and requesting new planograms when necessary.
  • Coordinating and executing new store setup orders, including stakeholder communication, order processing, shipment planning, and quantity validation for accuracy.
  • Coordinating and communicating the implementation of approved launches, both company-wide and for specific store groups, ensuring timely and accurate execution.

You have

  • Experience working with floor planning, planograms, or space planning processes in a retail environment is an asset.
  • A strong understanding of merchandising strategies and store operations.
  • Proficiency in working with floor planning tools, DXF files, or similar systems is an asset.
  • Experience supporting new store openings or large-scale rollouts is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey information to diverse stakeholder groups.

Compensation Details

$67,618.00 - $84,522.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
