About the Opportunity

The best superintendents we know are not chasing a bigger title. They want a job site they actually want to run, close to where they live. We are running a confidential search for an established ICI general contractor putting down real roots and they need a Site Superintendent to own the field in Kelowna. Steady commercial, institutional, and industrial work. A builder where the site team has a genuine voice in how the job gets planned, not a crew handed sealed drawings and told to hit the dates.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• The site is yours, mobilization to turnover: schedule, sequencing, quality, and safety
• Run the field: trade partners, self-perform crews, the short-interval plan, and an honest critical path
• Get in early, where your read on constructability shapes the plan instead of inheriting one already locked
• Own safety for real: daily expectations, hazard assessments, and a crew that goes home the way it showed up
• Drive quality and deficiency tracking so handover is clean and the owner walks into a finished building, not a punch list
• Partner with the project manager and the owner’s reps on site, not through three layers above you

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Eight-plus years running ICI sites as a super, groundbreak to turnover, on commercial, institutional, or industrial work
• A trades or technical background; the crews respect your call because you have done the work
• You own the schedule and call the problem before the three-week look-ahead does
• A safety record you can speak to with specifics, COR-aligned experience ideal
• Gold Seal, CCA, or equivalent is a bonus, not a gate

About the Job

Permanent, full-time, site-based in Kelowna and the Okanagan. Competitive base salary in the range of $120,000 to $150,000, commensurate with experience, plus a vehicle or truck allowance.
