Salary: $55,000 – $68,000 / year

Bamboo Design & Architecture is a Montreal-based company specializing in the import and distribution of sustainable bamboo construction materials across Canada. We work with homeowners, contractors, designers, cabinetmakers, and retailers through both direct sales and a qualified distribution network — and we're growing.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

We're looking for a driven, autonomous professional to take ownership of key areas of the business — so our founder can focus on strategic development, new markets, and growth initiatives. This is a hands-on role with real impact and direct visibility at the leadership level.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

Marketing & Content

  • Coordinate with our SEO agency — review and approve weekly content, oversee the gradual website rebuild
  • Plan and execute targeted email marketing campaigns by customer segment using Zoho CRM
  • Create seasonal promotions and commercial campaigns tailored to each segment
  • Create spontaneous, timely social media posts to complement the content planned by our SEO agency — product highlights, promotions, seasonal moments, and industry news
  • Track campaign performance metrics and prepare actionable reports

Sales — Major Retail Banners

  • Manage day-to-day operations across major retail platforms and e-commerce channels
  • Maintain and optimize product listings, pricing, and SEO content on each platform
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance by account; prepare reports and dashboards
  • Support promotions and retail programs for key accounts; identify opportunities for improvement
  • Handle orders, inventory levels, and customer reviews

Sales Support — Independent Retailers & Agents

  • Support the founder in developing relationships with independent retailers across Canada
  • Coordinate manufacturer's agents and prepare sales materials, presentations, and forecasts
  • Conduct market and competitor research to stay informed on trends and opportunities

Product & Technical Documentation

  • Maintain product catalog accuracy and consistency across all platforms and channels
  • Prepare product sheets, technical specifications, and practical client guides

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • 3–5 years of experience in e-commerce, marketplace management, marketing coordination, or a related role
  • Background in construction materials, distribution, or a related industry — a significant asset

Required Skills

  • Perfectly bilingual — French and English, written and spoken (near-native English level required — you will represent us on calls with English-speaking clients and partners across Canada)
  • Proven hands-on experience with Zoho CRM — campaigns, segmentation, and marketing automation
  • Proven experience managing major retail or e-commerce platforms — listings, inventory, and performance
  • Experience with product catalog management across multiple channels
  • Comfortable creating engaging social media content on the fly — a good eye for what resonates with a professional and trade audience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Assets

  • Experience with business intelligence or AI tools for data analysis and reporting
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Zoho or Salesforce

  • Competitive salary of $55,000 – $68,000 depending on experience
  • In-person position, Monday to Friday — with the flexibility of one work-from-home day per week (Tuesday through Thursday)
