2 Positions Available | Contract Opportunity | Ottawa, ON

Contract Duration: 48 weeks (Full-Time Contract) with option to extend

Location: On-site – Ottawa, ON

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, on-site (5 days/week)

Pay Rate: $25 – $28/hour (depending on skills and experience

Language Requirement: Bilingual (English & French) – BBB

Security Requirement: Reliability Status Clearance Required

Travel Requirement: Occasional travel may be required

About the Opportunity

Stafingo is hiring two Junior Store Services Personne l to support our public sector client’s asset management and warehouse operations team in Ottawa.

This role is ideal for candidates with experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory handling, logistics support, or asset management who are looking for a stable long-term contract opportunity.

The successful candidates will support day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, organizing, tracking, handling, preparing, and distributing equipment and materials while ensuring accurate inventory management and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

As a Junior Store Services Personnel, you will

  • Support warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping materials and equipment
  • Assist with incoming deliveries by unloading shipments, verifying items, and ensuring proper documentation
  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and coordinating dispatch activities
  • Perform inventory activities such as tracking, recording, organizing, and locating assets
  • Assist with sorting and processing returned equipment/materials based on operational requirements
  • Support asset handling activities including storage, movement, distribution, and disposal processes
  • Maintain accurate records, complete data entry, and update inventory documentation
  • Assist with equipment organization, workspace maintenance, and warehouse housekeeping
  • Follow established procedures related to safety, security, handling, and storage requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to support daily warehouse priorities and deadlines

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Successful completion of two years of secondary school OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material handling environments is an asset
  • Ability to safely move, organize, and handle equipment/materials
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to follow procedures and work effectively in a team environment
  • Comfortable performing physical warehouse duties including lifting, moving, and organizing materials

Language Requirement

Bilingual proficiency required

  • English: BBB
  • French: BBB

Security Requirement

  • Must have a valid reliability clearance issued by PSPC
  • Candidates will be required to provide documentation to support valid security clearance
