About KiSoJi
KiSoJi is a next-generation antibody discovery company developing highly differentiated therapeutics for challenging targets in oncology and other diseases. Our proprietary platform combines transgenic mouse technologies, large-scale antibody datasets, and advanced AI methods to accelerate antibody discovery and engineering.
We are expanding our Digital KisoMouse team and are looking for a motivated AI/ML Research Engineer to work closely with our existing AI and computational biology team on antibody generation and optimization projects.
Responsibilities
- Run, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize machine learning and deep learning models for antibody and protein generation.
- Develop and maintain Python-based workflows for model training, inference, and data processing.
- Work with large biological datasets related to antibodies, proteins, and sequence analysis.
- Support the development and benchmarking of generative AI models for antibody discovery.
- Analyze model outputs and help identify promising antibody candidates.
- Collaborate with AI scientists, computational biologists, and experimental teams.
- Perform data curation, annotation, quality control, and labeling tasks when required.
- Document experiments, results, and technical workflows.
- Stay current with developments in AI, machine learning, protein language models, and antibody engineering.
Required Qualifications
- MSc, PhD, or equivalent industry experience in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong Python programming skills.
- Experience with machine learning and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Experience training, fine-tuning, evaluating, or deploying AI/ML models.
- Ability to work independently and in a collaborative research environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Highly important: experience with protein, antibody, or biological sequence data would have a great positive impact
- Familiarity with protein language models, LLMs, GNNs, diffusion models, or other generative AI approaches.
- Knowledge of antibody discovery, protein engineering, protein structure prediction, or molecular modeling.
- Experience with cloud computing, Linux environments, and large-scale model training.
- Background in software engineering and MLOps is an asset.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly capable AI/ML practitioner who is comfortable working across research and engineering tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly learn new models, run experiments, analyze results, and contribute to the development of next-generation antibody discovery platforms. Prior antibody experience is highly desirable but not mandatory for exceptional candidates with strong AI/ML expertise.
