Mrs. Dunster’s has been a family tradition throughout the Maritimes and Maine for 50 years. We are a local, family owned and operated fresh bakery, with bakery operations in Sussex, NB, and Moncton, NB. We are known for our unique products, our great customer service, our talented teams and our passion for community involvement.

We are currently looking for an Accounting Student to join our team in the role of Summer Staff accountant. This position will run for 8 weeks and will allow the right candidate to improve their skills, while gaining hands-on experience.

Job Summary

Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting, the staff accountant will be responsible for entry-level tasks within the accounting department.

Primary Duties

· Develop an understanding of our AP and AR roles

· Handle data-entry for various systems

· Create ad-hoc reports on projects that may include sales report analysis, cost accounting, expense analysis, etc

· Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Candidates must be enrolled in an accredited Accounting or Business Administration program.

· Experience with Microsoft Excel

· Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions and communicate with individuals and teams.

· Perform all work in a safe manner, following all health and safety operating procedures.
