About the branch

Finance, Systems and Administration is a corporate branch within the department that provides senior management with direction, guidance and support services in the management and operation of financial and information systems and related administrative processes to ensure that resources are utilized effectively and efficiently in a coordinated manner.

About the job

Reporting to the Manager, Finance, this position manages the eligibility, coordination, and documentation of financial assistance under the Disaster Financial Assistance Arrangements (DFAA) program. This position also supports branches with Community Services (CS) to recover expenditures under a variety of federal and interagency agreements, ensuring proper assessment and reporting requirements.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet each of the following qualifications. Please note, selection for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Post- Secondary coursework in finance, business, office administration, or related field
  • Experience preparing, analyzing, and interpreting financial documents
  • Experience working with computerized financial management information systems and using Microsoft Excel to track, analyze, and report financial information;
  • Experience conducting research, assessing options, and analyzing findings to support informed decision making and recommendations;

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the above qualifications may be equally considered.
