End: June 25, 2027 / all classes are dependent upon student enrollment
Location: Con Ed Oshawa: Monday to Friday - 7.5 hrs per day
Applications are currently being accepted for the above position. The successful applicant should have teachable(s) in at least one of the subject area(s) identified in the above posting and hold certification in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers.
Required:
- Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) active with CNO (College of Nurses of Ontario)
- Certificate of Qualification/ Interim Certificate of Qualification (must be in good standing) from the Ontario College of Teachers
Desired:
- Adult and Continuing Education Experience
- Senior Basic Qualifications, Tech Qualifications
- Experience teaching on Desiree2Learn (D2L) platform as the course is run on D2L with adult students attending in person, on-line, and/or asynchronously
- Experience working in Long-Term Care Home
Rate of Pay:
- Will be paid according to the Continuing Education hourly rate, $57.84/hour, as per the current collective agreement for each designated day of the program.
