Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical, electrical, and automated systems on state‑of‑the‑art equipment. If you enjoy hands‑on mechanical work, solving problems, and working with modern technologies, this role will offer continuous technical growth in a modern food manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

You contribute to achieving the company’s objectives through the following actions:

  • Apply and promote safety standards for yourself and your colleagues
  • Propose performance improvement initiatives
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation issues
  • Respond to emergencies and provide technical support to production and other departments
  • Develop expertise on cutting‑edge equipment
  • Program basic PLCs and perform troubleshooting
  • Solve complex technical problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on key equipment

Requirements

We are looking for someone who can

  • Hold a college diploma in Industrial Controls, Instrumentation & Control, or a related field, or have equivalent training and experience
  • Have hands‑on experience with mechanical and electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair
  • Bring solutions and enjoy working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
  • Manage priorities and multitask effectively
  • Take initiative and remain persistent when facing challenges
  • Make quick, sound decisions
  • Have experience in an industrial manufacturing environment (food industry an asset) Salary: Starting wage of $30.43/h, increasing up to $37.28/h depending on experience
