Mission is located on the unceded, ancestral, and shared territory of the Stó:lō Peoples, specifically on Leq’á:mel, Semá:th, Máthexwi, Kwantlen, Sq’éwlets, and Katzie traditional territories in the lower mainland of BC. Nestled on the southern coastal mountain slopes overlooking the lush Fraser River Valley, Mission is a rapidly growing and dynamic community of approximately 41,500 residents, 20 kilometers north of the US border and 70 kilometers east of Vancouver. The Mission Leisure Centre is seeking enthusiastic, customer-oriented individuals with excellent communication skills to work on a part-time or auxiliary basis as a Registration Clerk Receptionist.

Employees in this position perform a variety of customer service and support functions at the Leisure Centre including switchboard, reception, processing of payments, registrations, facility bookings and admissions.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have completed high school (or equivalent) and have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a similar customer service environment. You will possess skills in a variety of related computer applications including data entry and keyboarding. You must have the ability to remain calm, courteous and tactful in demanding situations.

Additional Information

The 2025 rate for this CUPE position is $30.97 per hour plus a percentage in lieu of benefits. Employees in this position must be available for various shifts between the hours of 5:00 am and 10:00 pm including evenings, weekends and some statutory holidays.
