Senior Geologist (P.Geo).

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Geologist (P.Geo.) to join our growing mineral exploration and development team. This position offers flexibility and may be structured as either a part-time office-based role or a full-time office and field position, depending on the successful candidate’s interests and availability.

The successful applicant will play a key role in managing geological data, regulatory compliance, technical reporting, and exploration planning across multiple mineral exploration projects.

Position: Senior Geologist (P.Geo.)

Location: Downtown Vancouver, BC or Interior British Columbia

Position Type: Full-Time or Part-Time (depending on candidate)

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

Office-Based Responsibilities

  • Review, edit, and approve technical reports and geological documentation.
  • Review and provide technical oversight for news releases and public disclosure related to exploration activities.
  • Prepare and submit permit applications, notices of work, assessment reports, and other regulatory filings.
  • Maintain compliance with provincial and federal exploration regulations.
  • Assist with exploration planning, budgeting, and project management.
  • Interpret geological data and provide technical recommendations to management.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors, government agencies, and Indigenous communities as required.
  • Ensure compliance with NI 43-101 standards and industry best practices.

Field Responsibilities (Full-Time Option)

  • Plan, supervise, and participate in exploration programs.
  • Oversee geological mapping, sampling, drilling, and field data collection.
  • Manage contractors and field crews.
  • Conduct site visits and project evaluations.
  • Ensure safe and efficient field operations.

Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Geologist (P.Geo.) in British Columbia, or eligible for immediate registration.
  • Minimum 10+ years of mineral exploration and/or mining industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of permitting and regulatory processes in British Columbia.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing technical reports and public disclosures.
  • Knowledge of NI 43-101 requirements.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience with precious metals, base metals, critical minerals, or polymetallic exploration projects is considered an asset.
