As Accountant / Bookkeeper, you will:

Provide accurate and timely accounting/bookkeeping support for clients (full cycle accounting) up to or including financial statements (to be confirmed, based upon your experience). This includes data entry, general accounting, payroll, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, accounts payable and preparing/sending tax remittances, etc.

Provide support during tax season. Critically review and assess accounting documents, tax returns and financial reports to ensure accuracy of all information.

Represent the firm in a professional manner and maintain a high degree of confidentiality.

Education:

Experience:

Related bookkeeping/full cycle accounting experience, with a strong knowledge of bookkeeping practices and legislative/tax requirements. Experience in a public accounting firm is an asset.
Must have Canadian tax experience – personal income tax and/or corporate income tax.
General accounting knowledge and experience in bank reconciliations, accounts receivables/payables as well as basic payroll entries and calculations.
