Facility Services Operator I and Parks Worker Position Overview

The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is currently inviting applications for the full -time blended position of Facility Services Operator I and Parks Worker . This role will be scheduled as Facility Services Operator I from October to March, moving to Parks Worker from March to October, with slight adjustments depending on operational requirements . The Facility Services Operator I perform s operational, maintenance, and safety-related duties for arenas and aquatic facilities , through routine inspections, minor maintenance, equipment operation, and customer service . The Parks Worker is primarily responsible for the maintenance of the SCRD ’s parks properties and assets in a public safety conscious manner and assists with or completes construction projects as required. Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including comprehensive benefits available as soon as you join us ! This is a bargaining unit position working 37.5 to 40 hours per week , depending on operational requirements . Both positions ( Facility Services Operator I and Parks Worker ) are paid $35.38 per hour . Please note work may include both evenings and weekends and appointment is subject to a satisfactory RCMP Police Information Check including vulnerable sector check .
