About RebalanceMD

RebalanceMD is a large, multidisciplinary medical practice in Victoria, BC, with a team across physicians, surgeons, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and allied health. The practice is well-known across Vancouver Island. The Shop sits inside the clinical environment, working alongside the broader RebalanceMD team.

The role

RebalanceMD is hiring a Certified Pedorthist to join The Shop in Victoria. The role works alongside the lead Pedorthist on a full clinical caseload that includes custom orthotics, custom bracing, footwear fitting, and patient follow-up, supported by strong physician and physiotherapist referral flow from across the practice.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for foot, ankle, and lower-limb concerns, including gait, alignment, pain, injury recovery, and mobility.
• Take measurements, scans, or impressions for custom orthotics.
• Design and fit custom foot orthotics.
• Fit and design custom bracing alongside the lead Pedorthist.
• Fit medical-grade footwear, compression products, and other durable medical goods.
• Educate patients on product use, maintenance, and expected outcomes.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine physicians, physiotherapists, kinesiologists, and other clinicians across the practice.
• Troubleshoot fit, follow up with patients, and contribute to a positive patient experience across both clinical and retail interactions.

What you bring

• Canadian Certified Pedorthist (C.Ped(C)) in good standing. RebalanceMD will also consider candidates who have completed the Western University Pedorthic diploma and are within months of writing the certification exam.
• Strong patient communication and the ability to connect clinical recommendations to practical product solutions.
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with the maturity and energy to build relationships across a busy multidisciplinary practice.
• Comfortable with a fast-paced clinical retail environment.

The details

• Location: On-site at the RebalanceMD Victoria clinic, located at the Uptown Shopping Centre, Victoria.
