About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to own a portfolio of client social media management. This role is primarily remote with in-person travel for content photo and video shoots within Edmonton and Surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute social media content strategies across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging platforms
- Planning and executing in-person content shoot days
- Filming and editing video/static content
- Publishing content using scheduling tools (Rella)
- Monitoring and responding promptly to DMs, comments, and community interactions, be the voice of the brand
- Building and nurturing community through authentic engagement and relationship-building
- Track metrics, analyze performance, and optimize content based on data
- Collaborating with our creative and video teams to align social strategy with brand voice
- Stay current with social media trends, algorithm changes, and platform updates

Required Qualifications
- 3 - 5 years of social media management experience
- Experience managing social for in house brands or with other creative agencies
- Familiarity with content creation (copywriting, trend-spotting, campaign strategy)
- Undergraduate degree or diploma in Marketing, Business, Communications, PR or any other related field
- Proficiency with social media scheduling tools and platform native analytics
- Strong understanding of social media best practices and emerging trends
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented
