Montessori Casa Assistant

Casa Classroom (ages 3-6)

We are looking for an Early Childhood Assistant to join our well-developed 3–6-year-old Casa program. We are an accredited Montessori school that emphasizes hands-on learning and developing the child’s best potential.

Responsibilities Include

• Observing and redirecting students in the classroom
• Daily preparation and organizing of learning areas and materials.
• Maintaining a positive and welcoming environment for children, parents, and coworkers
• Following directions from the Lead Casa Guide and maintaining flexibility
• Working both as a part of the team and independently to ensure best success.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Early Childhood Education Diploma, Undergraduate Degree or Education Degree
• Montessori Assistance Course (3-6)
• Montessori Experience would be an asset
• Standard First Aid and CPR Certification
• Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
• Social Development Check (done upon offer)
• High degree of professionalism
• Strong work ethic
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Willingness to expand on education
• Must like working outdoors in all weather
