The Opportunity

We are seeking a Surface Land Agent to join our team in our Regina office. The ideal candidate will have experience in surface land acquisition, stakeholder engagement, negotiations, and project coordination within the energy, utility, or infrastructure sectors.

Working alongside an experienced team, you will manage land acquisition files, negotiate agreements, build relationships with landowners and stakeholders, and support the successful delivery of projects throughout Saskatchewan and Manitoba.

This role is well suited for a motivated professional who takes ownership of their work, communicates effectively, and is looking to further develop their career in the land services industry.

Responsibilities

· Identify and secure surface land rights required for project development

· Negotiate surface leases, right-of-way, and access agreements with landowners

· Address landowner concerns and facilitate mutually beneficial solutions

· Maintain accurate land records and documentation

· Support senior land agents and ensure compliance with regulators

· Foster and maintain positive relationships with landowners, stakeholders, and clients

· Obtain regulatory approvals

· Support project planning by identifying land-related risks, constraints, and opportunities

· Act as the primary point of contact for landowners and stakeholders

· Represent Millennium Land Ltd. with confidence and professionalism

What We Are Looking For

· Strong interest in negotiations in the energy sector

· A diploma in Surface Land Management, or related field is an asset

· High level of drive, accountability, and internal motivation

· Ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure

· Strong communication skills with the ability to influence outcomes

· Highly organized with strong attention to detail

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

· Valid driver’s license

· Background in land, energy, business, or agriculture is an asset
