Erosion Control Central (ECC) is a growing environmental consulting and construction company specializing in erosion and sediment control, residential grading, and site services. We work with developers, builders, and contractors across Alberta to deliver high-quality results with a focus on safety, reliability, and professionalism.

We are currently looking for an experienced Equipment Operator to join our residential construction team in Edmonton. This role is focused on final grading and loaming for new home construction during the season and transitions into snow removal operations in the winter.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a key member of our field operations team, you will:

  • Operate a full-size skid steer for residential grading and loaming
  • Perform fine grading for new home lots
  • Mark and check grades accurately
  • Direct truck traffic and coordinate material placement
  • Work safely and efficiently on active residential construction sites
  • Operate a Bobcat mini skid steer (463 / S70) when needed, considered a strong asset

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of skid steer operating experience in residential construction
  • Proven experience with grading and loaming
  • Comfortable marking grades and directing trucks
  • Solid understanding of site safety and job sequencing
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work well in a team environment

Preferred Assets

  • Experience leading or training other operators
  • Experience operating a Bobcat 463 or S70 mini skid steer
  • Snow removal equipment experience

Compensation & Schedule

  • $30–$40 per hour, depending on experience
  • Full-time, year-round employment
  • Guaranteed winter salary transitioning into snow removal operations
