Reporting to the Program Manager, as a member of the Diagnostic Imaging Management team, this position is responsible for the leadership, coordination and operations of site imaging services. The position manages human resources, operational budgets, key performance indicators and establishes and maintain effective liaison within Covenant Health management, community stakeholders and external colleagues to ensure integrated imaging service delivery. This is an out-of-scope position and is non-unionized.

Required Qualifications

Postgraduate degree in Health Sciences Administration / Department Management, or Business Administration and / or equivalent of education and recognized diagnostic imaging experience. Membership in appropriate professional organization to support professional development. Licensed by the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) if applicable. Minimum five (5) years’ experience in the provision of diagnostic imaging services.

Additional Required Qualifications

Minimum three (3) years’ experience in a formal leadership/supervisory capacity required. Working knowledge of DI services. Proven leadership, analytical and planning skills. Enthusiastic and respected. Proven organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork, collaboration and partnership. Strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the vision, mission and values of Covenant Health and Alberta Health Services. Outstanding communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Creative and innovative in resource deployment. Human resource and organizational development skills. Demonstrated financial competence and effective stewardship of resources. Change management experience and expertise.
