ABOUT THE TEAM

RRC Polytech’s International Projects and Student Recruitment team is a collaborative, globally focused group dedicated to expanding the College’s international reach and supporting students from first inquiry to enrollment. We work across priority markets to strengthen relationships with education agents, build strategic partnerships with overseas institutions, and lead recruitment activities that connect qualified students with RRC Polytech.

Our team partners closely with Admissions, Marketing, and Academic Schools to ensure a smooth, student‑centered recruitment experience. We stay informed on global trends and market insights to guide institutional planning and support long‑term growth. Together, we advance RRC Polytech’s commitment to being a welcoming, innovative, and globally engaged institution.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Reporting to the Supervisor, International Student Recruitment, you will drive RRC Polytech’s international student enrollment by managing education agents, developing institutional partnerships, and leading recruitment activities in priority markets. You will build and manage a network of education agents who bring qualified international students to RRC Polytech, training agents, monitoring their performance, and working with them to increase applications and enrollments while developing new agent relationships in priority markets to expand RRC’s reach. You will also develop partnerships with overseas colleges, universities, and organizations, including creating articulation agreements, pathway programs, and collaborative initiatives that align with the College’s global engagement priorities.

You will engage directly with prospective students and agents from first inquiry through enrollment. You will answer their questions, provide accurate information on programs and admissions, and encourage them to apply. You will have a fair understanding of key immigration requirements. Working collaboratively with Admissions, Marketing, and Academic Schools, you will ensure the recruitment process runs smoothly, students have a positive experience from prospect to enrollment. You will monitor the trends and provide insights that inform institutional planning and long-term strategic growth

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or Education. Equivalent combination of education, job experience, and lived experience may be considered
  • Several years of recent and relevant experience in higher education marketing, student recruitment, outreach, or related fields
  • Demonstrated expertise in the international education sector, with extensive experience recruiting international students and navigating global market trends, agent networks, and multi‑channel recruitment campaigns
  • Experience in business development focused on expanding educational partnerships and recruitment channels, with evidence of successfully securing international development contracts and opportunities
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with international education institutions, funders, and recruitment agents to drive enrollment and support partnership development
  • Experience organizing and implementing recruitment plans for international students, including driving engagement through education agents, direct recruitment, virtual and in-person outreach events, and targeted marketing campaigns
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong cross-cultural communication abilities, including the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Superior customer service skills with a student-centered approach, delivering responsive and professional support to prospective students and education agents
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to deliver professional presentations in person and online to international audiences
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement

NICE TO HAVE

  • Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to adopt new technologies
  • Ability to use AI tools to gather, analyze, and report data
  • Knowledge of operating Student/Client Information Software such as Colleague, International Student Program, and/or Recruit by Ellucian
  • Proficiency in additional languages relevant to target recruitment markets, or study or lived experience in those markets.
  • Understanding of Canadian immigration policies related to international students

  • Salary Range for this position: $65,975 - $92,986 per annum
  • Generous Paid Vacation: full-time employees accumulate a minimum of 15-days vacation per year, increasing to 30 days with service, while full-time Instructors accumulate 44 days per year. Information on casual and part-time vacation accrual is outlined in the Collective Agreement or the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees as applicable
  • December Break: employees receive time off with pay during the period between Boxing Day and New Year's Day
