Project Controls Manager, Civil Infrastructure - Permanent - 3238

About the Opportunity

If you’re a project controls professional who wants to shape how a major project gets built, this is worth a conversation. One of Canada’s most established General Contractors is growing its civil infrastructure presence in the GTA, and they’re building out the controls function behind some of the most significant work in the market.

As Project Controls Manager, you’ll own the cost, planning, and reporting engine on major projects, the forecasting, the earned value reporting, the change management, the cost-to-complete picture that leadership relies on to make the right calls at the right time. You’ll report directly Senior business leaders and sit close to the decisions that matter, with the visibility and the mandate to do the work properly.

This is a builder with over a century of history, a national footprint, and a stellar track record of delivering complex, high-profile infrastructure - including landmark transit work in the GTA delivered through collaborative models. It’s a genuinely rare moment to join a team that’s scaling, on projects that will define how we move and how our communities take shape for decades to come.

If you’re ready to grow your career and see your controls expertise can have a real, lasting impact on Canada’s infrastructure, let’s connect!

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

  • Cost Control & Forecasting Discipline: You’ve owned cost management on site, from cost-to-complete and cashflow forecasting through to identifying the risks early and flagging where mitigation is needed
  • Earned Value & Reporting Expertise: You’re fluent in earned value methodology and the reporting rhythms that keep a project team and a client aligned and ahead of surprises
  • Major, Complex Project Experience: You’ve delivered on medium-to-large complex builds and understand how cost breakdown structures align to the project work breakdown structure.
  • Analytical Strength: You’re strong with data, you trust the detail, and you can turn estimate breakdowns into budgets the whole team can run against
  • Drive to Grow: You’re looking for somewhere you can develop, take on more, and grow alongside the organization
