Title: Container / SageOps Developer

Location: Toronto, ON (4 days/Week HYBRID)

Duration: Long term assignment

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Container / SageOps Developer to design, build, and manage containerized applications and cloud-native platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and cloud infrastructure, along with a DevOps/SRE mindset to ensure reliability, scalability, and automation.

Key Responsibilities

Need a senior developer who understand sageops and container management - Dealing with container images, versioning, branching, integration with CI/CD

Build and maintain containerized applications using Docker

Deploy and manage microservices on Kubernetes (K8s)Design and implement CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Dev Ops)Automate infrastructure using Terraform / ARM / CloudFormation

Monitor application performance using Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack

Troubleshoot production issues and optimize system reliability

Implement security best practices for container environments

Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams

Ensure high availability and scalability in cloud environments

Required Skills

Strong experience with Docker & Kubernetes

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure/ GCP)Hands-on with CI/CD tools

Knowledge of Linux & networking fundamentals

Scripting skills (Python / Bash /Shell)Understanding of microservices architecture

Good to Have

Helm / Kustomize experience

Service mesh (Istio/ Linkerd)

Experience with EKS / AKS / GKE

Security tools (Aqua, Twistlock, etc.)

SRE practices (SLIs, SLOs, incident management)
