Our client is seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery & ServiceNow Lead to serve as the critical link between technology and the business. This role combines hands-on ownership of day-to-day IT service delivery with the opportunity to lead the client-side deployment of ServiceNow as the organization’s enterprise service management platform. Acting as the trusted representative throughout implementation, you will work closely with business stakeholders, external consultants, and leadership to ensure a successful rollout while establishing scalable IT service management practices. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the organization and the ServiceNow implementation partner, coordinating internal stakeholders, resources, and project requirements to ensure a successful deployment and seamless transition to ongoing operations.
  • Lead organizational change management activities related to ServiceNow, including user communications, training coordination, adoption support, testing, and business sign-off of key deliverables.
  • Oversee the preparation and validation of asset, user, service, and CMDB data while contributing to the design and optimization of ITSM processes such as incident, request, change, problem, and asset management.
  • Own day-to-day IT service delivery for the Vancouver corporate office, providing responsive support, including executive-level (VIP) support, while serving as the primary point of contact between IT and business users.
  • Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including hardware provisioning, system access management, and orientation to IT services, while helping define and improve the organization’s IT operating model and service standards.
  • Coordinate vendor and managed service provider relationships, supporting the transition of services in-house, documenting current-state services, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring continuity of service throughout vendor transitions.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive experience in IT service delivery, service desk leadership, IT operations, or IT coordination roles within a complex business environment.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or a comparable enterprise ITSM platform as an administrator, process owner, super user, or implementation team member.
  • Demonstrated experience working with external consultants, vendors, or implementation partners on enterprise technology deployments, preferably as the client-side lead or coordinator.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL principles and best practices, including incident, request, change, problem, asset, and service management processes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, vendor coordination, communication, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and drive accountability across teams.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation and/or ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certifications are considered strong assets, along with experience in regulated, asset-intensive industries and exposure to MSP transitions, change management, and end-user training initiatives.

Pay: $80-100 per/hour, 5 days on site in downtown Vancouver, BC – candidates outside of commuting distance to Vancouver will not be considered at this time.

Contract: 6-month contract to start
