Opportunity
The Department of Humanities in the Faculty of Arts and Science at MacEwan University has an ongoing need for sessional instructors to teach Introductory Japanese (JAPN 101 & 102) introductory and intermediate language acquisition courses and invites applications for the upcoming academic year. We may also have future need in our other language acquisition courses; candidates with experience teaching Chinese, French, nêhiyawêwin/Plains Cree, and/or Spanish are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications
You must hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree in the relevant discipline or related fields, though a PhD is preferred. Post-secondary teaching experience is an asset.
You should submit a letter of interest and a curriculum vitae. Include a list of courses you are qualified to teach and indicate during which terms (Fall, Winter, Spring/Summer) you would be available.
Only selected candidates will be required to submit official transcripts sent directly from the institutions where you completed your degrees.
