Position Details

THE BUSINESS MANAGER plays a critical role in supporting Radius Security’s mission to provide leading-edge life safety solutions and create safe communities. This role is the single point of contact for key multi-site clients, ensuring their needs are met with excellence and accountability. By fostering long-term relationships, the Business Manager enhances growth, customer retention, and collaborates with internal teams to deliver exceptional service experiences.

COMPENSATION: Depending on the candidate, this role has a salary range of $70,000-$120,000 per year(this includes base salary + commission/bonus structure). Commission structureis based on RMR (recurring monthly revenue) + total contract value. ‍

Job Description

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned National Account customers (A - Accounts), ensuring strong relationships and consistent communication.
  • Conduct regular customer touch points, including site visits, meetings, and service reviews.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Command Center, and other internal teams to ensure customer expectations are met and service quality is maintained.
  • Review and ensure accuracy of Master Sales Agreements and Service Level Agreements.
  • Oversee Evergreen contract renewals and support customers through upgrade planning and implementation.
  • Identify opportunities for contract renewals, service enhancements, system upgrades, and cross-selling additional solutions.
  • Address escalated customer concerns and develop resolution plans for at-risk accounts.
  • Provide customers with recommendations related to technology trends, crime prevention strategies, security best practices, and system upgrades.
  • Work closely with Command Center, Police Liaison, and Operations teams to proactively address recurring security concerns and improve site performance.
  • Lead customer-facing reviews, including apprehension reviews, vulnerability assessments, missed event reviews, and incident investigations.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the security industry, with strong knowledge of Security technology and solutions.
  • CCTV, networking, telecommunications, or related technical training, certifications, or hands-on experience are considered strong assets.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and the ability to use a personal vehicle for regular travel throughout the Greater Vancouver area.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid security worker licence.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to identify opportunities, generate recurring revenue, and successfully upsell products and services.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated, with a strong focus on achieving results.
  • Collaborative team player who demonstrates initiative, ownership, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability and a willingness to contribute new ideas and drive them through to completion.
