Cancard Inc is looking for an experienced, engaged, and hands-on healthcare sales leader for the position of Director of Sales, to help drive development, launch and successful commercialization of an innovative portfolio of healthcare hardware and technology products across markets for Cancard.

We are seeking ambitious, results-oriented, and entrepreneurial sales managers to lead business development and sales efforts starting with our portfolio of healthcare products including scheduling & queue management solution across various global markets. This role is ideal for a senior sales professional with a proven track record in healthcare technology sales who is looking to build and scale a business and ultimately grow into senior general management leadership position.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new customer acquisition, developing strategic partnerships, building a high-performing sales organization, and establishing our solution as a leading patient flow, appointment scheduling, and queue management platform within hospitals, healthcare networks, diagnostic chains, clinics, and other customer-facing enterprises. This is a high-impact role requiring both hands-on sales execution and strategic leadership capabilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Revenue Growth & Business Development
· Drive end-to-end sales activities, from prospect identification and lead generation through contract negotiation and closure to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
· Build and manage a robust pipeline of opportunities across healthcare providers, hospital groups, diagnostic centers, clinics, and healthcare ecosystems.
· Identify and pursue strategic opportunities within government healthcare initiatives, healthcare networks, and enterprise accounts.
· Develop account penetration strategies for large healthcare organizations and multi-location healthcare groups.
· Create territory plans and go-to-market strategies to accelerate market adoption.
Healthcare Industry Sales Leadership
· Leverage existing healthcare industry relationships to create new business opportunities.
· Engage with hospital administrators, CIOs, CEOs, Operations Heads, Patient Experience Leaders, and Digital Transformation teams.
· Position Cancard solutions along with the Zuna queueing and scheduling solution as a strategic platform for improving patient experience, operational efficiency, resource utilization, and digital transformation.
· Understand customer workflows and recommend tailored solutions addressing appointment scheduling, patient flow optimization, queue management, self-service check-in, and operational efficiency.
· Stay informed on healthcare technology trends, regulations, and market developments.
Strategic Account Management
· Build long-term relationships with key decision-makers and executive stakeholders.
· Develop executive-level business cases and ROI-driven value propositions.
· Lead complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and procurement processes.
· Negotiate commercial agreements and manage enterprise contract discussions.
· Ensure smooth handoff and collaboration with implementation and customer success teams.
Channel & Partnership Development
· Identify and develop strategic partnerships with healthcare consultants, technology integrators, channel partners, and healthcare associations.
· Build referral networks within the healthcare ecosystem.
· Explore opportunities for alliances with hospital information system providers, EMR vendors, and digital health solution providers.
· Develop partnership programs that contribute to revenue growth and market expansion.
Team Building & Leadership
· Participate in hiring, mentoring, and developing future sales team members.
· Establish sales processes, forecasting methodologies, and performance metrics.
· Create scalable sales playbooks and best practices.
· Coach and mentor junior sales professionals as the organization grows.
· Foster a culture of accountability, customer focus, and high performance.
Market Expansion & Future Leadership
· Contribute to overall business strategy and market expansion initiatives.
· Provide leadership with competitive intelligence and market insights.
· Participate in pricing, product positioning, and go-to-market planning.
· Support expansion into new verticals and geographic markets.
· Demonstrate the leadership capability, commercial acumen, and strategic vision required for progression into a future Country Head role.
QUALIFICATIONS
· MBA from a reputed institution preferred.
· 8–15 years of enterprise B2B sales experience, with at least 5 years in healthcare technology, digital health, hospital IT solutions, healthcare SaaS, patient engagement platforms, healthcare workflow systems, or related technology solutions.
· Experience working in high-growth technology companies or startups preferred.
· Existing understanding, and relationship within hospital groups, healthcare chains, and healthcare technology ecosystem in Ontario and other Canadian markets.
· Experience launching or scaling healthcare technology products in India and leading regional or national sales teams.
· Demonstrated success selling solutions to hospitals, healthcare groups, diagnostic chains, healthcare providers, or healthcare government agencies.
· Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding revenue targets.
· Experience managing complex enterprise sales cycles with deal sizes ranging from mid-market to strategic accounts.
· Experience engaging C-level executives and senior healthcare decision-makers.
