The Mackenzie Valley Environmental Impact Review Board (Review Board) has an immediate opening for an Environmental Assessment Policy Advisor in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories.
Job description: As the Environmental Assessment Policy Advisor you will be responsible for designing, drafting, and implementing the policies, guidelines and procedures that define how the Review Board conducts environmental impact assessment. You will also create and implement tools that help the Review Board run effective and efficient environmental impact assessment processes.
Requirements and qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of environmental impact assessment policies and processes and a minimum of three years of experience in the field of environmental impact assessment or the NWT’s integrated resource co-management system.
