B&W Canada is currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the temporary contract role of Contract Analyst in the province of Ontario.

Job Description Summary

The Contract Analyst provides services to all business units, entities, affiliates, subsidiaries and support functions within the Company. The primary emphasis of this role includes commercial and contract review, as well as overall proposal and contract support services, both domestic and international.

Specific Duties

  • Supports proposal activities, including review and editing of commercial documents, participation in negotiations with customers and vendors in all manner of sales/purchasing efforts.
  • Facilitates contract execution matters, including providing contract support in connection with claims, mediations, arbitrations and litigation, as well as providing day-to-day guidance and support to the proposal and project teams.
  • Drafts, reviews and negotiates memorandums of understanding, letters of intent, limited notices to proceed, non-disclosure agreements and ancillary contract documents.
  • Identifies and supports process improvements.
  • Conducts training for employees on commercial/contract subject matter.

Education and/or Relevant Experience

Legal degree (JD) is an asset, business administration or finance, or 3+ years of experience which includes domestic and international contract experience and/or other relevant experience.

Compensation is $85,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year and is determined by experience.
